Forget an Apple a day!

Nourishing health drink using herbs, cacao, nuts, seeds and coconut oil 🙂

I have been drinking these daily for years now. I thought id share my recipe. They are nourishing, filling and healing. You can replace cacao for carob if you avoid stimulants.
You could also make with any nut milks/milk of your choice. I love hemp and hazelnut milk.

Here is a few good reasons why ginger, cinnamon, chilli, turmeric, cardamom are great for you!
healing herbs

Use my basic recipe for
almond milk I make this using warm water to create a warm choc drink. In the warmer weather I use tepid water. You could use cold or iced if that’s your thing.

Add 1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 desert spoon chia seeds
2 desert spoon shelled hemp seeds
2 desert spoon cacao powder
1 tsp cinnamon
1tsp cayenne pepper (less if too hot for you)
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cardamom
1 tsp black pepper

Sweeten with a little Raw Honey (local if possible)

Whizz up and pour

Serves 2
Enjoy 🙂 x
